




Ali Jafari, a black belt practitioner in Shotokan Karate and Tae Kwon Do for over 35 years, is an instructor at Martial Arts and Fitness Center based in Cypress, California. Presently, there are more than 200 members actively participating in his Karate and Tae Kwon-Do program at the center. Prior to opening his new Dojo in November 2004, he spent approximately thirteen years teaching Martial Arts at the Sequoia Athletic Club in Buena Park and another seven years teaching at his own karate studios. In his teaching career, he has taught thousands of students, many of whom achieved their black belts while under his guidance. Sensei Jafari is multilingual, Beside English he is fluent in Farsi, Spanish which he frequently employs when teaching martial arts to his Persian and Latin American students. In addition to his teaching experience, he has competed in numerous karate tournaments and championships, from which he attained valuable insight in the world of martial arts.
