Dear Sensei,
I agree with your outlook on life wholeheartedly. I think that is
the main reason Karate has been such a passion with me. I thoroughly
enjoy coming to the class. Everybody I have talked to agree
that coming to the dojo calms them down. One can sense the
positive vibes permeating through the dojo. And it is because of you.
My dad always tells me that it is not what you say or do but
what you are that makes the difference. And what you are makes
the difference. Sensei you have also made a difference in
my children's lives. They too admire you and feel safe at
the dojo as I know the rest of your students do. They have
gained a lot more confidence than they ever had before.
Thank you for being a great teacher and please continue to
talk to us especially the younger kids.

I've been taking Tae-kwon-do since I was only four years old
by my choice. I remember everyone thought that I was
too young and that I would quit immediately. But once started,
I never wanted to stop. Practicing Tae-kwon-do
has given me the concepts of dicipline, determination, high-spirt,
perseverance. Training with the same Sensei my whole life and loving
this activity/sport has made the greatest impact on my life
so far. I'm 13 now and I can honestly say that
my training in Tae-Kwon-do has completely shaped my personality.
I just want to thank Sensei Ali Jafari for everything he has
put me through to learn and find the best in me.

Hello Sensei! I would like to thank you for introducing me to the
junior class. I got to meet more
people ... and more people means more friends at beyatt
karate-do! The first day I did the junior class was ... well
challenging, but I wasn't expecting it to be easy. The challenge
makes me learn new things, accomplish more and become the best I
can in karate. During these past few
months I have met a lot of new
friends that I talk to outside of the dojo. I would have
never met these friends without starting karate there.
The best part is that I'll get to meet even more new people, gain new
friendships, and have a blast in class! I look forward
to the years ahead when I become more advanced in skill andI
appreciate all your hard work to help me make that happen.
Thank you so much.

Dear Sensei, I am away at college now over at UC Santa Barbara.
I plan to go home every once in a while and I really want
to go visit you and say hi and thank you in person. Ever since
I left the class I've been feeling a void in me. I was sitting here
Just now, doing homework, and I felt a sudden urge to go check
the website and I felt so happy to see everybody in the picture
of the week. I REALLY MISS BEYATT!!! And now I understand why I've been
feeling like something is missing. Tae Kwon Do and everybody at
Beyatt is my family who I miss so much. I wanted to say thank you
Sensei and everybody for all that I have learned and not just
the physical but also the mental part of keeping healthy.
Please tell everyone I say hi!

Every event and every class is a learning experience for me.
I always get something different, something positive from
them. This time was during my latest participation in Tournament.
Something really special happened to me
that I want to share with you. When I was sparring, I
could hear a bunch of loud voices from our dojo shouting
and rooting for me. Our people were making a lot of noise.
In fact, I was surrounded by voices. They did not distract
me or pull my attention away from the fight in any way,
instead, everyone’s voice felt more like a positive push of
energy. Sensei, I don’t think I realize until this very
moment how truly important it is to have this kind of
support. It feels great!
